Sarasota is where we started, and it’s still where we spend most of our week. It’s a city of contrasts for anyone who cleans exteriors for a living: glass-walled downtown condos looking out over the bay, historic West-of-Trail homes tucked under live oaks, mid-century houses with walls of windows, and newer builds stretched east toward the interstate. Each one weathers a little differently, and each one gets our full attention.
What Sarasota’s climate does to a home
Sitting right on Sarasota Bay means salt air, and lots of it. Salt carries on the breeze, settles on glass, and leaves the hazy film that makes a freshly cleaned window look tired again within weeks. Add the Gulf Coast humidity — among the higher levels in the state — and you get the second problem: algae. It’s the same organic growth that darkens stucco, streaks a roof, and turns a shaded sidewalk green. North-facing walls that never get direct sun are usually the first to show it.
Then there’s the sun itself. Between the salt, the summer rains and the UV, a driveway or pool deck that was pressure-washed a couple of years ago is often ready for another pass.
A different approach for a different surface
The mistake we see most often is one tool for every job. High pressure belongs on concrete and paver driveways — not on a stucco facade, a tile roof or a screen enclosure, where it can do real damage. So we split the work: pressure washing for hard surfaces, soft washing for anything delicate, and hand-and-pure-water detailing for glass. Frames, sills, tracks and screens are part of the job, not an upsell.
Homes across the city
From bayfront estates to the neighborhoods off Main Street, Sarasota’s best-kept homes tend to share one thing: owners who notice the details. That’s who we’re built for. We show up when we say we will, protect your landscaping and finishes, and don’t pack up until the glass disappears and the surfaces look new.
